Settlement conditions/common conditions for claims caused by natural perils.

Terms for settlement against the Norwegian Natural Perils Pool Effective as from 1st January 2019 (ref to circular 5/18)

 These terms specify the maximum that companies may settle through the Pool. The settlement terms are limited to the company’s own terms for fire insurance for the damaged object. The Act on Natural Damage Insurance will apply nonetheless where it specifies a different extent of cover or calculation of indemnity.

NNPP Settlement conditions up to January 1st 2016

These are common conditions which the companies shall use when settling claims caused by natural perils with Norsk Naturskadepool.

The settlement conditions are to be understood to give the policyholder this cover as a minimum when the policyholder has a fire insurance and the claim is covered by the Act on Natural perils insurance.
